Tip of the Day:
Once you begin questioning the logic of your dreams, they start to lose meaning.
if this were to actually be produced, i would see it in a heartbeat

Did Steven Spielberg predict Hurricane Sandy and more natural disasters to come?
No, probably not. New Jersey and much of the East Coastline have been destroyed by the most recent disaster. But, it is the destruction and power outages throughout manhattan that really make me wonder.
In his movie, A.I. (Artificial Intelligence), Spielberg creates a similar atmosphere. Near the end of the movie, the main character, David is led to Manhattan on his quest for Blue Fairy. While visiting Dr. Know, this poem is displayed for him:
“Come away, O human child!
To the waters and the wild
With a fairy, hand in hand,
For the world’s more full of weeping
Than you can understand…
Discovery is quite possible.
Our blue fairy does exist
In one place, and one place only,
At the end of the world
Where the lions weep.
Here is the place dreams are born.”
The scene in Manhattan is that of disaster. It takes place in a post-apocalyptic New York; the city lifeless, dark, and underwater. Later, after realizing the truth of his being, he decides to give up and sinks through the depths of the water. To his surprise, he stumbles upon a figure he mistakes for blue fairy. When he discovers she is made of stone, all hope is lost. Later on, in the future, he is found by creatures (alien-like, if you will) who re-unite him for a day with his mother.
While this is sentimental and all, it’s a bit eerie to think of how a scene similar to this could exist realistically at some point in this world. With Natural disasters on the rise, increasing in strength and magnitude, it is more than possible. UFO sightings have also been more common within the last century or so.
All I’m saying is the Universe is enormous, and there is more out there than we may ever know. The astronomical system works in mysterious ways, whether or not you are a believer in conspiracies or prophecies. Yes, it is likely that coincidence can explain such happenings. But what happens when things cannot be explained, and start aligning up as predicted? I guess we will find out.
